Rob
Remedial Massage Therapist
Coming from London, UK, Rob completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage in Melbourne and now practises as a Remedial Massage Therapist. Passionate about continuing his professional development, he is currently completing his Diploma of Aromatherapy and plans to commence an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy later this year. Through his future Myotherapy studies, Rob will develop advanced skills including dry needling, cupping therapy, and comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment, allowing him to expand the range of evidence-informed treatments he can offer.
Before pursuing massage therapy, Rob spent seven years as a hairdresser, building a reputation for precision cutting after training in London. His career began even earlier in live theatre and events, where he worked as a sound technician before helping run a mobile DJ business. These varied experiences have given him a strong appreciation for communication, problem-solving, and understanding people from all walks of life. They have also shaped his calm, adaptable approach, allowing him to tailor every treatment to the individual needs, comfort, and goals of each client.
Massage therapy had long been an area of interest for Rob, inspired by his desire to work in a hands-on, people-focused profession that could genuinely improve peoples quality of life. He values the opportunity to build trust with clients, create a welcoming and judgement-free environment, and help people move with less pain and greater confidence. His ongoing studies in aromatherapy reflect his interest in understanding health from both clinical and holistic perspectives, helping him take a well-rounded approach to client care.
Rob provides remedial, deep tissue, and relaxation massage treatments, with every session tailored to the clients individual needs. Whether someone is managing muscular tension, recovering from injury, improving mobility, reducing stress, or simply taking time for self-care, his goal is to provide treatments that are effective, personalised, and supportive. As he continues to develop his knowledge and skills, Rob remains committed to providing the highest standard of care while staying up to date with current evidence and best practice.
Outside the clinic, Rob enjoys DJing, staying active through strength training at the gym, cooking, and has a lifelong passion for theatre and the creative arts. These interests reflect the same creativity, discipline, and appreciation for human connection that he brings to his work as a therapist.
