Our business started off small and we’ve slowly expanded to now have several clinics across Melbourne. We care that each new therapist who joins our team is settled in and seeing plenty of clients before we bring on the next new therapist. If you’re a new graduate, we try to schedule your days so that you’re working alongside someone more experienced, so that you can both learn about the best management of particular client presentations and also to learn the ins and outs of the day-to-day running of the clinic so that you never feel out of your depth. The business owners still work as therapists so you will always have the opportunity to learn from them and take advantage of their combined experience of over 30 years in the industry. 

Seeing clients straight away

New therapists will no doubt be seeing clients straight away. We consistently rank in 1st or 2nd position on Google for our chosen search terms which brings in a consistent source of new clients. Our clients come from a wide-ranging population of both residents and workers from all industries, ages, and backgrounds which keeps our work varied and enjoyable. We also have many long-term regular clients which we attribute to our great locations, excellent customer care and easy to navigate online booking system. 

Great locations 

Each location is well serviced by public transport with great local amenities. The clinics will have all you need available to you including all massage equipment, laundry facilities and HICAPS facilities so you only need to turn up ready to treat clients. 

We offer each new client their own personalised work email account, presence on our website, with the opportunity to author blogs and provide website content for those so inclined, and access to our secure online database and booking system. Full training on our procedures will be given with on-demand in-house training provided as requested, as well as $250 per year available to you for CPD courses you may be interested in. 

Team environment

Unlike other clinics, our therapists work as a team to decide on new policies, procedures and any necessary clinic changes and improvements. We strive to provide the best work environment and client experience whilst being environmentally conscious where we can. We come together as a collective of sole traders with a common goal. As such, you will require your own ABN, public and professional indemnity insurance and hold current membership to a massage association. These requirements will allow you to gain provider recognition with the relevant health funds and provide on the spot rebates to your clients. You will be paid fortnightly on a sub-tenant basis. Our contracts are simple and fair and represent our mutual respect. 

Required qualifications

We require you to have an Australian qualification in either remedial massage or myotherapy and require a high level of spoken and written English. We value good communication skills – one of the reasons we have so many long-term clients is that our therapists excel at building rapport with their clients and converse easily. This gives clients confidence and we believe makes for a more enjoyable career. 

Our roles are suitable for new graduates or experienced therapists. All therapists will be required to perform predominantly remedial massage but with some relaxation and general deep tissue treatments. Ability to provide pregnancy massage, cupping and hot stones can be advantageous.

As we like to get to know our therapists, please provide a cover letter as well as resume to us when applying. It’s also very handy for us to know your availability particularly if you’re also studying, or have other commitments which you need to work around. Successful applicants will be invited to interview and follow with a short practical session with one of our clinic managers.

Our clinics are open from 8am-8pm each weekday and from 10am-5pm on weekends.
