You can choose to have the voucher sent directly to the recipient or leave their email blank if you want to send it to them at a later date. Voucher numbers are required before booking your appointment.
T’s and C’s
For discounted/sale vouchers there is a limit of one voucher per person, but feel free to purchase additional vouchers as gifts.
Claims through hicaps cannot be made when using a voucher. We can provide a receipt for the treatment but it will state payment was made via gift voucher.
Private Health & Vouchers
Generally, private health insurance does not allow claims for sessions redeemed with gift vouchers or certificates for massage services. This is because the person who purchased the gift card did not receive the treatment, and the person redeeming it did not directly pay for it.
Why it’s typically not claimable:
- Person who paid didn’t receive treatment:
Health funds usually require the person who paid for the treatment to be the one receiving it, and that’s not the case with gift vouchers. - Person redeeming didn’t pay:
The person who used the voucher didn’t directly pay for the service, so they can’t claim it. - Receipt requirements:
The receipt for a massage session redeemed with a gift card usually indicates it’s for a gift voucher/certificate, not a treatment, which is not claimable.
